We use the name(s) and address(es) provided by the customer to accurately process order transactions and to ensure we deliver customer orders to the correct address.


E-Mail Address:
We use the e-mail address(es) provided by the customer to keep customers updated on the status of their order or on occasion to directly and quickly address any customer service issues or updates.

We will also use the customer’s e-mail address(es) to send marketing, sales promotions or Blog communications – only if the customer specifically authorises us to do so (opt in) during the checkout process or via a registration form on our site.

Please Note: customers can opt out from receiving marketing notifications at any time.


Telephone Number:
We use the telephone number(s) provided by the customer to allow us, when necessary, to keep customers updated on the status of their order or on occasion to directly and quickly address any customer service issues.


Credit or Debit Card Data:
Please Note: We use Wix Payments to process all card payment transactions.

When customers place an order on our site, their payment card details are collected directly by Wix Payments. At no time are customer payment card details made available to Lawrence & Barnes Ltd.

We do not store customer payment card details on the Lawrence & Barnes site.

Wix is Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) compliant and is accredited as a level 1 service provider and merchant.

Customer Order History:
We maintain a record of customers’ product order histories to enable us to provide an accurate and efficient future customer service offering, for any possible future product guarantee queries and to provide relevant future product offers.

Whilst nothing in life is guaranteed, customers can rest assured that the customer data shared with us is stored and protected to the highest possible security standards.

We use the Wix.com platform to host and operate this website. This enables us to access world class data security measures to securely store and protect our customers’ data.

Our customers personal data is only stored on Wix.com data storage servers. They store this data on secure servers behind a firewall.

How long do we keep customer data?
We keep customer data for 48 months from the date of the customer’s last order – unless a customer requests that we delete their data sooner.

We keep a record of anonymised customers purchase order histories indefinitely. We use this for analysis purposes.


Who do we share customer data with?

We only share customer data with carefully chosen partners for the purposes of fulfilling our contract for the supply of our products and to ensure we provide the highest standard customer service experience.

Please Note: under no circumstance do we either sell or trade customer data with any 3rd party for marketing purposes.


Website Developer
We use a trusted website developer to help us maintain and improve our site.

They do not have direct access to customer data without our direct and strict permission. On the occasions when they may access customer data they are not allowed to share or use customer data for any reason.


Delivery Companies:
We work with trusted and well known courier companies to deliver customers’ orders. We only provide our courier companies with the information they need to accurately and efficiently deliver customer orders and to keep the customer informed of the progress of their delivery (order tracking).

This typically includes customer name, address, telephone number and e-mail address.

Our courier companies do not share customer data with any 3rd party nor use it for their own marketing purposes.


Manufacturer Dispatched Orders:
We work with trusted UK manufacturing partners who fulfil and dispatch some customer orders directly from their premises located in the UK.

In order to facilitate this, we provide customer order and delivery data to our manufacturing partners.

This typically includes details of the customer order and the customer’s name and delivery address.

Our manufacturing partners do not share customer data with any 3rd party nor use it for their own marketing purposes.


Google Analytics / Google AdWords:
We use Google Analytics to collect, record and analyse visitor behaviour on our website.

This helps us to understand how visitors interact with our site and how we can improve the functionality and performance of our site to provide a better visitor experience.

The information collected by Google is strictly anonymised so that Google cannot identify individual visitors.

This information collected by Google is also used by Google AdWords - Google’s own e-commerce marketing platform.


Trust Pilot for Customer Reviews:
We use a 3rd party company called Trust Pilot to collect and publish customer reviews.

We only share a customer’s e-mail address with Trust Pilot to enable them to contact the customer to invite them to leave a review.
